THE ARTIST BEHIND POETRY FOOD

I’m Francisca Moreira, the cake artist and founder behind Poetry Food.

My journey into Cake Design began in 2021, after a career in sports management. What started as a creative pursuit quickly became a new way of bringing together my love for design, craftsmanship and storytelling.

Today, I create contemporary wedding cakes where sculpture, texture, colour and flavour come together.

I’m inspired by architecture, ceramics, nature and the beauty of imperfect forms.

Every cake is created from scratch and designed exclusively for its celebration — from the overall composition to the smallest detail and, of course, the flavours.

For me, a beautiful cake should not only be seen.

It should be remembered.
